Myth: Sunless Tanners Stink

If you smell a sunless tanner in the bottle, it typically smells nice. After you apply the sunless tanner to your skin, the proteins in your body react to the tanning ingredients, creating the notorious odor associated with faux glows. This smell disappears after your color processes and you shower. So, we recommend you apply sunless tanner at night, sleep in loose fitting pajamas and shower in the morning so you can showcase your bronze body without everyone knowing it came from a bottle.
