I have broken capillaries on my nose and cheeks. What should I use?
These dilated capillaries are usually due to heredity or are the result of sun damage. Sun, heat, spicy foods, alcohol or exfoliators can exacerbate them. Topical skin products are not usually effective in reducing the appearance of these small capillaries; however, a visit to your dermatologist may offer successful treatments.
If your condition is accompanied by sensitive irritated skin, we suggest the SOOTHE Regimen. Also, avoid using exfoliants over these areas such as beads, AHAs or retinols.
I have a difficult time finding a sunscreen for my sensitive skin. What do you have?
SOOTHE UVA/UVB SPF 15 Sunscreen with zinc oxide, a physical sunscreen agent, deflects damaging ultraviolet rays and keeps the surface of the skin cool to lessen facial flushing. With a blend of anti-oxidants, botanicals, moisturizers and dimethicone, it has been specially formulated for sensitive skin. Because clinical tests have demonstrated it to be non-comedogenic, it is excellent for acne prone skin, as well.
ENHANCEMENTS Mineral Peptides SPF 20 is a light-weight treatment powder that soothes skin, provides a second layer of sun protection while light-deflecting minerals immediately creating a more even-toned complexion and reduces the appearance of skin redness.
