MYTH: If I am wearing an SPF every day, I am protected from the aging effects of the sun
Not necessarily. SPF (Sun Protection Factor) refers to the product’s ability to block out UVB radiation (the burning rays) but does not reflect a product’s ability to block UVA light (the more harmful radiation responsible for skin cancer and wrinkles). Make sure your daily sunscreen contains zinc oxide, titanium dioxide or avobenzone for protection against UVA rays.
