I have white dots on my arms and I’m deeply tanned. What causes this?
Persistent sun damage may eventually cause some of the pigment-producing cells to die, leaving white confetti-like spots technically known as guttate hypomelanosis on the skin. UVA rays further damage your RNA (ribonucleic acid), which is located in the cytoplasm of cells and contains the instructions for all the chemical reactions within the cell. This UVA damage compromises your body’s ability to repair itself. And most problematically, UVA rays can mutate your DNA, eventually leading to skin cancer.
Summer is just around the corner and my back is broken out. What can I use?
‘Bacne’ is difficult to conceal during summer. The blemishes pop up unexpectedly and seem to last forever. We suggest using the UNBLEMISH Acne Treatment Sulfur Wash to clear and prevent breakouts from head to toe. You can also use ENHANCEMENTS Body Micro-Dermabrasion as a daily three in one exfoliator to remove dry skin, cleanse and condition skin.
