Do I need to wear sunscreen in the winter? I barely go out and it is always cloudy.
Remember every day is “Sun”day. Just because it is not summer, don’t let your guard down in terms of the sun. Protect skin with a broad-spectrum sunblock containing zinc oxide, avobenzone or mexoryl every day of the year, even when you can’t see the sun. And be particularly diligent if you’re on the slopes. UV radiation increases 10%-12% for every 3000 feet of elevation. Rodan + Fields offers five broad-spectrum sunscreens : REVERSE UVA/UVB SPF 15 Sunscreen, SOOTHE UVA/UVB SPF 15 Sunscreen, ANTI-AGE Triple Defense Treatment SPF 30 featuring SHIELDrf, UNBLEMISH Oil Control Lotion SPF 20, and ESSENTIALSUVA/UVB SPF 30 Sunscreen. Apply 15 minutes before heading outdoors and re-apply every 2-3 hours when exposed to day light.

My lips get really dry and flaky during cold weather—it is so embarrassing. Will the Lip Micro-Dermabrasion help this problem?
Most people carry a lip balm and re-apply it like crazy. Most formulations do not always repair dryness but coat it with occlusive ingredients. The balm wears off and you need to re-apply it pronto. It can be really addicting. Our Lip Micro-Dermabrasion is an exfoliating and conditioning treatment specially formulated for delicate lip tissue. Use this gentle exfoliator at least twice a day to remove dead skin cells and soften the skin. And try to avoid licking your lips and breathing through your mouth while you sleep; both can severely dry lips.
